About Us
Building a trusted reputation in the general aviation maintenance and avionics industry is not an easy path. The industry has been challenged by the exit or retirement of many highly skilled technicians, most often replaced by inexperienced and/or poorly educated trainees, many of whom don’t have the passion for aviation of those they replaced. Further challenges have included the confusion of many industry mergers, lack of available hangar space, and the cost of parts and information.
Even on the customer side, a lack of understanding of what it takes to maintain an aircraft properly along with cost concerns have perpetuated an acceptance of “trunk slammer” maintenance that often leads to poor and even unsafe results, especially over time.
At Equinoxx, we view these challenges as an opportunity to build trust by addressing each issue. To address the training challenge, we have started our own maintenance and avionics school to assure training is done the Equinoxx way. To keep the passion alive and growing, we believe an employee-owned business is the way forward. To address the lack of hangar space, we have a division that builds hangars. And, for our customers, we hold regular educational events to help them understand the benefits of a well-maintained aircraft.
These continuing efforts have helped Equinoxx Aviation Services become a trusted name in general aviation maintenance and avionics services, helping us grow from a small shop to multiple locations. From single-engine piston to large corporate jets, our persistent improvement programs and close attention to detail highlight our commitment to the safety, reliability, and value that keep our customers coming back.
